Advancing Careers

The Brennan Career Development Program’s mission is to support lifelong career management for students and alumni. We’re building new partnerships, hosting information sessions and networking events, and adding to our team to help students and alumni maximize their experience at Brennan.

This fall, we’ve worked with a variety of employers to help students explore the wide range of career opportunities available following graduation. We’ve partnered with TransUnion, Grainger, Bosch, BKD, and Arthur J. Gallagher, offering students the opportunity to network and interview with these companies.

We’re also pleased to announce that the number of postings from employers has grown this fall, and we’ve increased the number of corporate engagements. This month alone, students have the opportunity to visit Bosch (thank you, Maddi Zanoni '17) and TransUnion’s office in Chicago for unique job shadowing and recruiting opportunities.

We’d like to extend our congratulations to two Brennan students who have recently accepted internships. Renee Hogan '18 accepted a Human Resources internship with TransUnion, and Anthony Nasca '19 was announced as the fall 2017 Treasury Management Association of Chicago (TMAC) internship recipient.

We’d also like to welcome Alyse Lasser to the Career Development team. Alyse joins the Brennan School of Business as an Executive in Residence. Alyse has over 18 years of experience in executive search practice, in addition to over 15 years of litigation and legal staff practice. Alyse is a graduate of the University of Illinois and obtained her law degree from the Northwestern University School of Law. She is the current President of Insight Executive Search Partners, Inc.

We play an active role to facilitate relationships between students, alumni, and employers. Join us for a Networking Reception on October 18 for the opportunity to share stories, exchange ideas, and make new connections.
