Brennan Partners with Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce on Business Research Project

The Brennan School of Business recently partnered with the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (IHCC) to conduct a business research study on Hispanic-owned businesses within the state. The study was co-conducted by Brennan professors Al Rosenbloom, PhD, and Derek Ruth, PhD.

Report Synopsis: Illinois has the fifth largest concentration of Hispanic-owned businesses in the United States. In a region rich with both the vitality of Hispanic entrepreneurs and with geographic clusters of firms that make connections to global communities easier, an important question to ask is: How well are Latino businesses partaking of global opportunities?

This project was made possible in part by generous funding from the JP Morgan Chase Foundation.
