C-Suite Speaker Series: Chris Lowney, Catholic Health Initiatives Board Chair and Author

Chris Lowney, a one-time Jesuit seminarian, later served as a Managing Director of JP Morgan & Co on three continents until leaving the firm in 2001. He currently chairs the board of CHI, one of the nation’s largest healthcare systems with more than 100 hospitals. He is author of five books, including the bestselling Heroic Leadership. His other books include Pope Francis: Why He Leads the Way He Leads; and Everyone Leads: How to Revitalize the Catholic Church.

About the C-Suite Speaker Series
This series brings top C-Suite executives from leading companies and entrepreneurs in the Chicago area and beyond to campus for the chance to speak and engage with students, faculty, and other members of the business community.

As part of the event, Lowney will also be presented with the James W. Haugh Award for Entrepreneurship and Ethics in Business. Named for the former chairman of the Dominican University board of trustees and KPMG national practice director, The Haugh Award is presented to an entrepreneur or other principle in a family-owned business whose achievements reflect not only extraordinary business acumen but also dedication to community and personal integrity.
