Young Women Coached Toward Leadership Roles
Dominican University students participate in the Future Leaders Program, where they have the opportunity to explore career paths in the for-profit and non-profit sectors. The mentorship program encourages students to become future female business leaders and offers meaningful exposure to various careers. Recent Graduates Study Overseas
Recent graduates Tom Rozewski ’17 and Sonny Saiz ’17 are attending Lingnan University in Hong Kong to participate in the school’s prestigious Master of International Banking and Finance Program. Tom and Sonny received scholarships to attend Lingnan University, which is ranked fifth among all economic research institutions in China, according to a recent study.

Brennan Business Scholars Named for 2017-18 Academic Year
The Brennan Business Scholars program provides a select group of distinctive accepted business students the opportunity to receive scholarship funds upon entering the program. The 2017-18 Brennan Business Scholars are: Alyssa Czachor, Esperanza Gomez, Gisella Hurtado, Jianna Keska, Taras Khvostyak, Fernando Lopez, Alejandro Pena, Robert Pickert, Ruth Rodriguez, Greta Rupeika, Joshua Sapnu, Alex Schmitt, George Sherman, Jackson Smith, Gabriel Smyk, Angelica Socha, Alfonso Soto, Harrison Stanny, Claire Widseth, Connor Williams, and Kyle Yoder.

Professor Rosenbloom Named as Rowe Distinguished Professor
This summer, Al Rosenbloom, Professor of Marketing and International Business, was named the inaugural holder of the John and Jean Rowe Distinguished Professorship. The Rowe Distinguished Professorship recognizes an outstanding faculty member who has exemplified superior continuous contributions in the areas of teaching, research, and service. Al is not only a great teacher but an engaged — and intellectually engaging — colleague.

Assistant Professor Reavey Begins Research as Fulbright Scholar
Brooke Reavey, Assistant Professor of Marketing, departed for Bucharest, Romania in August to pursue her research as a Fulbright Scholar. Late last year, Brooke was selected for a one-year research and teaching position at a university in Romania. She is conducting a three-stage research project to investigate the attitudes of Romanians toward engagement and financial support for non-governmental organizations (NGOs). Professors Collier and Rosenbloom Speak on Conference Panel
Earlier this month, Elizabeth Collier, Professor of Business Ethics, and Al Rosenbloom participated in the MidAmerican Business Deans Association (MABDA) Conference. Liz and Al appeared alongside with Tom Robinson, President and CEO of AACSB International, on a panel discussion. This year marks the 10th anniversary of PRME, a global learning community with a commitment to transform business and management education. Brennan has been a PRME signatory since the early years of the initiative and has been actively involved in the founding of the new North American chapter of PRME.
