Developing an entrepreneurial mindset is one of the core values of the Brennan School of Business.  Many of our graduates are entrepreneurs, or involved in a family business, or combine an entrepreneurial vision with their business acumen in careers with established companies.

The Brennan School’s Entrepreneurship Breakfast celebrates entrepreneurship and the entrepreneurial leaders among us.  The highlight of the event is the presentation of the James W. Haugh Award for Entrepreneurship and Ethics in Business.  Named for the former chairman of the Dominican University board of trustees and KPMG national practice director, the Haugh Award is presented by the Brennan School to an entrepreneur or other principal in a family-owned business whose achievements reflect not only extraordinary business acumen but also dedication to community and personal integrity.
